Here are the details according to the Facebook event page:
We are pleased to announce a special Injury Prevention Workshop for our dancers! Joining us for this workshop are two practitioners from the West Vancouver clinic Impulse Sport Therapeutics, Dr. Nick Lendvoy and Michelle Kwok.
In this workshop, Dr Lendvoy and Ms Kwok will be going through some introductory injury prevention practices for dancers, basic screenings, dance-specific injury prevention demonstrations, and assessments free of charge!
With dance being a physically demanding art and sport, injury prevention practices are very important for the physical health and longevity of a dancer’s career.
This workshop is strongly recommended for any of our PTP dancers, and any dancers who also are involved in other athletics. Parents, teachers, and anyone who is interested is welcome to join. It will be an educational, practical, and informative afternoon with highly educated practitioners!
